Welcome to the dedicated Jio Speed Test tool. Whether you are using JioFiber for streaming your favorite shows in 4K, competitive gaming, or remote work, knowing your actual internet speed is crucial. Jio has revolutionized the Indian broadband market with its gigabit-capable FTTH (Fiber-to-the-Home) networks and the rapidly expanding Jio True 5G network. Our advanced diagnostic tool provides you with highly accurate measurements of your Download, Upload, Ping, and Jitter, ensuring you are getting the blazing-fast performance promised by Reliance Jio.
JioFiber offers a wide variety of prepaid and postpaid broadband plans, starting from 30 Mbps and going all the way up to 1 Gbps (1000 Mbps). When you run a Jio internet speed check, your results should ideally be within 10-15% of your plan's maximum speed. For example, if you are on the popular 150 Mbps plan, a good speed test result over a 5GHz Wi-Fi connection should show at least 130-140 Mbps. If you are testing a 1 Gbps plan, remember that you must use a Cat6 Ethernet cable plugged directly into your Jio Home Gateway (router) and a PC with a Gigabit LAN port, as most standard Wi-Fi routers will max out around 400-600 Mbps.
With the rollout of Jio True 5G and JioAirFiber (Fixed Wireless Access), many users are experiencing speeds that rival or even exceed traditional broadband. Jio's 5G network operates on Standalone (SA) architecture, which means it doesn't rely on existing 4G infrastructure. This results in incredibly low latency (ping) and gigabit download speeds on mobile devices. When running a speed test on Jio 5G, it is common to see download speeds exceeding 500 Mbps. However, 5G speeds can fluctuate based on your distance from the cell tower and network congestion. If you notice high jitter during your test, it could indicate signal interference.
If your JioFiber or Jio 5G speed test results consistently fall short, there are a few steps you can take. First, try restarting your Jio router—this often resolves IP assignment issues and clears the router's cache. If you are experiencing slow Wi-Fi speeds on JioFiber, ensure your device is connected to the 5GHz band rather than the congested 2.4GHz band. Look out for the 'Red Blink' on your Jio router; a blinking red LOS (Loss of Signal) light means the optical fiber cable is damaged or disconnected, and you will need to raise a service request through the MyJio app.
